About Me
Hello, Iām Victoria, a professional portrait photographer in Glasgow and Central Scotland.
Iāve spent years photographing people and have many years of experience working with people professionally and as part of personal and commissioned projects.
Iāve always been fascinated by how people present themselves and what lies underneath that presentation. Youāll see that I favour portraits photographed outside the studio and portraits in homes, social and working environments because in my portrait photography those spaces form part of the photograph itself.

I love observational portraiture and while Iām photographing, Iām watching your movements, gestures, expressions; Iām asking questions, listening, encouraging you to think more, explain more, reveal more.

Prior to studying Fine Art Photography at the Glasgow School of Art, I was interested in representing only what I could visually see but exposure to artist photographers like Sally Mann, Sophie Calle, Diane Arbus, Francesca Woodman, Julia Margaret Cameron added a new dimension to my work.
I started to notice what we often donāt see. In the last seven years my portraiture has increasingly focused on the gestures, expressions and behaviours that sit underneath a posed photograph and work together to create a deeper impression of who someone is.

I also run The Trades Photographer , a documentary photography project focused on trades and construction work across Scotland.
And I photograph short-notice and weddings through Last Minute Wedding Photography.
